The hotel is located in downtown Miami and if you are planning on being on Miami beach, do not book it. It is too far from it and public transportation in Miami is too slow and cabs are too expensive. The hotel staff was also pretty rude - especially the bartenders would give you demeaning looks and when I asked for a glass of water one day - he kept on saying " oh yeah everyone just wants a glass of water" again and again before he gave me one. What else? Oh yeah, breakfast. Waited 30 min one day for two eggs over hard and finally charged us * dollars for a breakfast for two with 18% tip included - and I was not planning on leaving tip because I waited for so long. This last one I took up with the manager and they ended up reimbursing us and also giving us a free breakfast the next day. On the bright side, the room was nice with a beautiful view of the islands and very comfortable but service like I mention here is very very poor.

My family and I stayed overnight at the Hilton in downtown Miami. When we arrived at the hotel, our room was not yet ready. Without hesitation,the hotel staff immediately offered us an upgraded room at no additional cost. The room was amazing and the staff was friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

From reading some of these reviews we must have stayed at a totally different hotel. I feel that each and every rating should been excellent + + + ! First and foremost the price was fantastic and the service was superior(our luggage was taken to and from our room upon arrival and departure). Our stay was truly in luxury ! ! !

Conflicting Stories- This was the weekend of the record low temps in South Florida. HILTON AT THE AIRPORT had HEAT. Was told by an individual at the counter that the hotel was built without a heating system. Another employee said that when maintenance went to turn on the System it was rusted. Anyway too nice of an establishment/corporation to have the COMFORT of Guest compromised. HOPEFULLY LESSONED LEARNED- UPGRADE HVAC for this location.

It was the worst Hilton I have ever been..the first day ,housekeeping took the towels from the room and never replaced them.I had to call 3 times to bring us more towels.next day,the same thing:our towels are gone and nobody replaced them.I had to call housekeeping 3times to bring towels to the room.Also,they sounded annoyed when I called to ask for towels.and they didn't even apologise.The worst Hilton I've ever been.The good thing was that the room was very clean and had a good view.
